LETTER TO THE EDITOR DUE 3/30



Next with your blogs you'll write a "letter to the editor." A letter to the editor is a evidence-packed opinion piece written to the editor of a publication. You will write yours to the Star Ledger and the Orange Transcript. Please follow the online forms to do so. This will mean using Google search, for example,  "Star Ledger letter to the editor."




You will CC your letter to me as well. E-mail dwlarkins@gmail.com 


You should write the letter in the body of your e-mail, with all your contact info, instead of as a attached document. 


Letter should include: description of your project and its goal. What you've done so far. Why you chose this issue. And what the community leaders: Board of Ed, Mayor, etc., can do about it).


We will look at examples in class.

    Yes you can. Your letter should be posted on your blog, e-mailed to me, e-mail to the Star Ledger and to the Orange Transcript. HERE is the difficult to find link for sending to the Orange Transcript (now known as the Record-Transcript.
