"It was as if I was trying to walk up the side of a hill of feathers." As I was reading this particular phrase really stocout to me. Not only was this a simile but it was also trying to portray that over coming a certain obstacle or problem is difficult. Thus, comparing its unlikely-hood to walking up a hill of feathers, which is nearly impossible.
